Christian Pulisic admits Chelsea departure is very likely

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has admitted that there is every possibility that he could leave the blues in the January transfer window. The American International has been starved of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge. Yet, he has insisted to stay at the club in the hope that the situation would improve after the change of management, which took place earlier in the season after the arrival of Graham Potter in place of Thomas Tuchel. Even under the new management, however, Pulisic has been unable to get a lot of action and he has been used very sparingly.

The 24-year-old has been with the blues since 2019 after making a £ 60 million from Borussia Dortmund. After starting his days with very small American outfits, Borussia Dortmund snapped up the young Christian Pulisic in 2015 as a teenager. He has spent the entirety of his professional career in European football and he is widely regarded as one of the top American internationals. Since making his debut for the US soccer team in 2016, Pulisic has featured in more than 50 games with 20+ goals already – including one at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Pulisic made a very good impression at the World Cup 2022 after coming up with one goal and two assists – something that he has managed through the entire season with Chelsea so far.”Right now I’m absolutely back at Chelsea. Focused and ready to finish the season. But you know how things work in football. Things change quickly and anything can happen. At the moment, I am just pushing myself in training and working at Chelsea because that’s where I am right now,” said Pulisic. So far,Pulisic has been used from the start for only three matches this season. He has been widely seen as a transfer target for Arsenal.
